Based on the homonymous book by Pedro Álvarez Caselli, five chapters structure a story that describes the origins of design and its link with the national industry at the beginning of the 19th century, the development and professionalization of the graphic discipline from the second half of the 20th century, and its current status as an interdisciplinary matter responsible for delivering products, systems and services that contribute to the cultural imaginary and the development of the country.
